Artist Statement

RON FORD CPA, CMA is an artist who mainly works with acrylic paints. With a subtle minimalistic approach, Ron considers making art a craft which is executed using clear formal rules and which should always refer to social reality.
His meticulously planned works resound and resonate with images culled from the world around us. By focusing on the character, shape and content these become primary while the techniques and materials become secondary.
The essential things are the content and its presentation. His works are notable for their perfect finish and tactile nature. This is of great importance and bears witness to great craftsmanship. .
